I had a fantastic experience with a wonderfully warm staff and a room that had everything I needed. The excellent location made it a breeze to explore Cranbrook Country Park just under 3 km away, perfect for a leisurely walk, and the beauty of Poltimore House, only about 2.5 km from the hotel, was a delightful highlight on my city stroll. each day began with a delicious breakfast that set me up nicely for my adventures around Exeter and its landmarks, making my weekend feel special.

Welcoming atmosphere and great food
The staff truly made this stay memorable with their warm hospitality, offering a cozy environment to relax after a long day. My only wish is for a little more pressure in the shower.

The welcoming ambiance complemented by the delightful atmosphere stood out during my stay. The beautiful two-bedroom apartment was well-equipped, and the Full English breakfast made each morning special. The staff went above and beyond, offering helpful service and even accommodating my dog with some sausages. it was a bit of a challenge to navigate due to local roadworks, which added time to our outings.

This place felt like a home. Arriving after a long drive, the warm welcome made all the difference. My room had a comfy bed and a nice big TV. Loved the clean, traditional decor with modern touches. The shower pressure was great, and the food in the restaurant was delicious. They even prepared a packed lunch for me since I missed breakfast. A charming pub ambiance and lovely staff enhanced the experience. access involved a lot of stairs, which could be an issue for some. The heavy bed in the master room needed repositioning, which improved things significantly. a nightlight for the staircase would be a nice touch. a fantastic stay, but a few adjustments could make it even better.

Friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
I struggled with the uncomfortable bed during my stay, which made for restless nights. The space around the bed was cramped, causing me to bump into it repeatedly. The lack of basic amenities like toilet rolls upon arrival was frustrating and made me feel unvalued as a guest.

Comfortable Stay with Room for Improvement
We stayed for a night and enjoyed the cozy atmosphere of our room. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was decent but could have been heartier. I'd recommend opting for local beverages, as the wine options fell short. Future guests should explore nearby eateries for better dining.
